Bio
Doug Fir and The 2x4's is a multi-generational band comprised of fathers, sons, and friends. Foremost, the band members share a particular appreciation of classic, guitar-driven hard rock and roll music.

The group's repertoire incorporates ageless, classic songs, all of which convey meaning, energy, and above all, FUN.

While some of the band's material originally dates from 1940's to 1970', they strive to bring new amplitude and energy to bear in performance. Careful to preserve what it is that makes these tunes truly classic, they want their music to move people and reintroduce great sound and good feeling.
